Tips for Using:

  • The best way to learn Pages for ipad is to go through the "Getting Started" Pages document that comes on the ipad. Tap the plus sign to begin a new document. Select a template. Replace placeholder text and images by tapping on each.
  • When saving to WebDav, user has 3 options: Save as Pages, PDF or a WORD document.
  • Pages, Microsoft Word, or plain text (.txt) documents created on a computer can be edited in Pages , but the document must first be saved to WebDav. On the iPad, the document must be opened through the Pages app by tapping on the + and selecting Copy from WebDav.

Math- Use the recipe template to create recipes for a specified number of people, increasing or decreasing ingredient amounts
Science- Use to take notes on a science concept; Document steps in a lab experiment
SS- Create a resume based on a historical figure; Design a visual report or a flyer based on a region of Texas
