Tips for Using:

"Show what you know" - Students demonstrate knowledge of any topic via drawing and speaking.
  • 3 options for uploading backgrounds- Choose from Library, Choose from Dropbox, or Take a Photo
  • Only basic tools- backgrounds, 3 types of pens with 12 colors and 3 tip sizes, and 2 options for erasing
  • When finished recording and watching the playback, tap the ScreenChomp icon at bottom of screen to "package" movie for sharing. Tap movie in top left corner to view and share or to delete from the iPad.

Math - Demonstrate and explain how to solve various types of math problems.
Science - Illustrate and explain various cycles: Water Cycle, Moon Phases, Life Cycle
Label photos such as parts of plants, parts of cells, parts of an ecosystem
SS - Illustrate and explain a route taken on a map or how the terrain effects economic opportunities.
Texas Regions: upload a Texas map in PDF format and have students label and discuss the regions.
ELA - Short biographies in which students upload a picture and then tell about the person
News reports
Character interviews with student drawn picture or one taken with camera
Fluency Checks: Use camera to take photo of a paragraph. Students record themselves reading and then listen back to assess for accuracy, expression, and rate.
Other - Teachers create instructional videos for students and link or embed on their webpages.
